Introducing Dulini Moya

Dulini Moya

Warm greetings, to all friends of Dulini!

We have good news to share with you. The lodge you know well, and perhaps even visited on your last journey to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, is being re-imagined.

It all began way back in 1988 with the creation of the humble ‘Dulini Bush Camp’ set in the elbow of the Mabrak River under a canopy of riverine forest. At the entrance to the camp is a tall anthill, previously the home of a reclusive, rare aardvark. This long-standing symbol became the source of inspiration for the name ‘esi-Dulini’ meaning ‘place of the Ant-bear’.

From there, Dulini Lodge expanded  to embrace Leadwood and River Lodge into The Dulini Collection praised for its sublime service offerings, personal attention and exceptional game viewing.  And here our story comes full circle, as the winds of change once again blows through the boughs of ancient trees along the Mabrak River, breathing renewed grandeur into the beloved original camp…

With an almost complete redesign to all suites, functional updates to structures, and hand-selected decor exuding romantic nostalgia for pioneering adventures, Dulini Lodge has been transformed. Inviting indulgent relaxation and quiet contemplation, the revived atmosphere enhances synergy between the soul and the utterly wild space that you find yourself within.

And with these alterations, comes the whispers of a new name. A Tsonga name meaning “spirit” or “wind”, expresses our heart, the value we place in our wonderful people and our gratitude for the natural heritage upon which The Dulini Collection is privileged to be established.

A name reflecting the essence of the elegant Dulini Collection of which we are so proud:

Dulini Moya, the spirit of Dulini
